Because Mom's Work is REALLY Never Done

My name is Debbie Burgin (Duh), and I’m an author, and mom to three grownups. I’ve been there, done it, bought and burned the t-shirt as a single mom (replaced it with a mug 😉

Parenting is a stressful job, even in times when there’s not really much to ‘stress’ about. But when you’re a single mother, the stress is constant. There are a million things to think about, and an equal number of things that need to be done, and they’re all yours for the doing.

Great, right?

Being a single mom has it’s trials, but know that everything that you go through as a single mother, prepares you for something else, something bigger. Something ‘better’.

When your children are young, your days are filled with car pools, play dates and bake sales. When they grow up and move out however, those days are your own!

“Single Mom 2.0” is an ‘evolved’ single mom. She’s well aware of her ‘short comings’, but also knows that her strengths are greater than anything she thinks she might be lacking.

Yes…being a single mom is stressful to say the least. But you can do this. Enjoy this time, regardless of what comes your way. In my experience, it passes in the blink of an eye, and before you know it, the kids are all grown up with their own lives.

I hope you enjoy what you read on this blog.
